Some like the lake when it is full of ripples but not I. To me, there isn't much that is more peaceful and soothing than when the lake is calm and slick as glass. We've had a mild winter so far, and while it has been warmer than usual it has also been grayer than usual. It's been very hard to find anything to photograph this January. Hopeful February will be better for me.
